Thanks to Jessica from Queen of Saving Green. She posted the deal on getting Bic pens for free at Kmart. I didn't get a sales ad so I went down to the store. I was going to price match at Walmart but decided to get the pens from there. They didn't have any limit on it but they did give me a hard time about the printable coupon. I was only allowed to use one. Even with paying tax, it comes out to $0.078 per package of ten pens. I've stocked for years to come.

Stopped at two different stores. At the first stop, they were all out of crayons and dentek flossers. This was all I was able to get my hands on. Definitely had to change my shopping plans in store since they were out of the free items once again. Bought $21.44 worth of merchandise for $3.10 and ended with $7 RR. So for the whole week of shopping around at multiple stores I ended up spending $15.66 OOP on $102.67 worth of merchandise. Definitely passed my weekly budget of $10 per store but really managed to stock up on a few items.

When I had called to see if they had the Noxzema disposable razors, they only said they had two. When I got there, I decided to check the razor aisle again and found six more. The cashier fussed about a limit but there was nothing printed in the ad so I got all of them for free after coupon. I only went for the razor and ended up doing all my shopping. Love it. Everything this week was free after coupons, raincheck, +UP rewards, and rebate.

I just realized that the receipt survey didn't take off $3, it is says zero. That's what I get for not checking the receipt before leaving the store. The register was acting funny. First I tried to use the $2.99 +UP reward but I had to add $0.05 more so I picked up the candy. Then the register said I owed $1.64 more so I used the $1 +UP reward instead. Then the register said I still owed $3. Instead of doing the transaction again since the register froze half way thru, the manager manually entered the +UP reward and it cut into the sales tax. The drive to go back to the store to fix it is not worth the gas. Lesson: ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT
