Finally got the Nivea Body Wash!! My mom did the first and last transactions. She got a hard time because the cashiers are still not aware of the new coupon policy but luckily they are posted at each register. And all she had to do was point out the part about overages. I called the store to see if they had the 5 count Allegra in stock and they put it on hold for me. When I got there, they had put the 15 count on hold instead. I asked if they were substituting but I guess it was a mistake. They checked the inventory and it said there were some but I guess no one could find it. So I thought I made a trip out for nothing. I pulled out coupons from my binder to see what I could buy since I was already there. I picked up all the stuff and just before heading to checkout I went back to the pharmacy to look for the Allegra myself. And on the display where the 15 count boxes are supposed to be they had put the 5 count boxes. I got lucky. Was able to redeem my raincheck. I got $48 worth of merchandise for $2.57 that includes the photos. Who doesn't want free photos...hahah. More of the Revlon CATs printed out including one for Allegra. Wasn't a wasted trip after all.

Late Posts

Usually I come home with my loot and take photos of it before I put it away. Then I sit and type out what each item is but then I have to go back and figure out which coupons I used. That's why they're posted sometimes weeks after I've gone shopping.

I just finished a whole month of buying Revlon Beauty Tools thinking that was it for now until a new coupon comes along. Hello SS 4/17!! I see myself buying more beauty tools...lol. I hit a few snags while checking out. I got the wrong Easter grass when I first started checking out. Instead of holding up the line, the transaction was voided and I had to start over again. Then the $0.55 coupon for Edge Shave Gel wouldn't take. The manager adjusted the price of the shave gel. Same thing happened a few weeks ago with the Skintimate Shave Gel. Lastly since the bag tags were such a popular item there weren't any hanging around but when I asked for a raincheck somehow the manager was able to find me the last two that were behind the register. Surprising thing, I got $3 ECB instead of $2.50 ECB on the Crest toothpaste and Glide Floss. Same thing happened last time I used a raincheck for the Crest toothpaste. I thought it was a mistake. Got $26 worth of merchandise for $3.45.

I had a hectic week of running around and lucky for me there was CVS close by everytime. So I stopped in and I got all this. I was especially excited by tonight. We had Little Ceaser's hot n ready Pizza for dinner and I got free soda at the CVS nearby. There were tons of clearance deals; Dove Men+Care deodorant, body wash, Airwick Candles, Renuzit Crystal Refills (9 oz). I had once again picked up the trial size Dove Men+Care deodorant for $0.50 each but the supervisor told me I couldn't use the $1/1 Dove Men+Care Deodorant [exp. 4/24/11 (RP 3/27/11)] on the trial size. She said according to the picture on the coupon it was meant for the larger sizes. I didn't feel like arguing that so I set it aside. These are shopping trips from two different days. The first day I had such a hard time. I spent almost an hour checking out. The cashier scrutinized my coupons. Then she wasn't willing to accept a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon. Then I was getting overage with the Physician's Formula and Excedrin so the cashier had to manually enter it in. Instead of adjusting it she just flat out refused it. So I asked to see a manager and she quickly changed her mind and adjusted it. Then with the skintimate, the coupon wasn't scanning (but it is for the product). The cashier decided to adjust the price and took the coupon. The ECB didn't print out at the end. Just wasn't my day. At the end I asked for rainchecks on the Clean & Clear bodywash but she ran back and got me some. Next day was a quick one. I went in for Milano cookies and they were so many on the shelf. No hassle this time.
