I just realized that the receipt survey didn't take off $3, it is says zero. That's what I get for not checking the receipt before leaving the store. The register was acting funny. First I tried to use the $2.99 +UP reward but I had to add $0.05 more so I picked up the candy. Then the register said I owed $1.64 more so I used the $1 +UP reward instead. Then the register said I still owed $3. Instead of doing the transaction again since the register froze half way thru, the manager manually entered the +UP reward and it cut into the sales tax. The drive to go back to the store to fix it is not worth the gas. Lesson: ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT

The $3/2 Johnson & Johnson coupon wasn't scanning in so a manager was called over. She looked at the coupons and said Limit one per purchase meant multiples of the same coupon couldn't be used in the same transaction. What if I had a hundred of the same coupon? I would have to wait for a long time at the checkout. When I told her that she was confused with the wording of "limit one per transaction" and "limit one per purchase", she told me that they had a meeting recently and that's the way their corporate office wants it done to get reimbursed. I spend almost 45 minutes at the checkout since every transaction had to be approved to get cash back. What a hassle!!!

Nothing was marked. I had an employee shop with me the whole time and pointing out the sale items. I was in and out happily in 30 minutes.

I had to do the transactions a few times. I kept on getting told that the receipt survey $3/$15 was supposed to be applied after coupons. Also the cashier refused to take the Bayer coupon since it wasn't scanning in. So I asked to see the supervisor. He tried it first and then used the coupons and the transaction worked. The downside to this is the receipt survey coupon can only be scanned once along with Rite Aid store coupons. They had to manually enter it in. All this fuss everytime I got to this particular store. Now I'm gonna drive two miles further to avoid the hassle.

I had to get a lot of rainchecks. Most of the sale items were not in stock. I just realized that the zyrtec coupon took of $7 although it was ringing at $5.99. I know that Fuze is a monthly deal but I was thinking you could only do it once because of the limit. I didn't know you could do it once a week for a whole month. Still have more of those coupons left. It's gonna be colorful recycling for me. Going back tomorrow for the $0.99 12 pk pepsi.

I went shopping at Safeway and decided to check in at Rite Aid and pick up a few things. Unfortunately most things were out of stock except for the Veet. On the shelf it was priced differently and I figured after coupons I would pay with +UP rewards and then the rest but with price changes (in my favor), I only paid tax for it. I still don't know how I received a $2 discount because that's not 10% of $6.49. I shouldn't complain. It knocked about $4 off my total. Very happy with my ten minute find.

I never got a chance to get any of the freebies expect for the sobes. They ran out the first day of the sale week and never received more during the week. Very frustrating. Luckily I was able to roll my register rewards. When I did the transaction, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't use more register rewards. Looking at the receipt, I noticed the cashier took off $5.49 on the deodorant although the maximum amount was $4.99. Then for some reason the Gillette deodorant was ringing up B1G1 50% off. It was only advertised the Gillette Clinical were ringing up that way. Funny thing happened...instead of $10 RR I received $1 RR. The manager took care of it by giving me two $5 RR. Still got some deal this week but not what I had planned on.

I had such a hard time today. Most cashiers don't know how to price match. My receipt is a mile long since the cashier decided to ring everything I was price matching and voided it. Says that how it needed to be done. The CSM came by and took care of it. Most people are surprised when they see you doing this. At the bottom of the receipt after the barcode it says " Low prices. Every day. On everything. Backed by our Ad Match Guarantee. Beside being at the checkout lane for a long time, things went smooothly.

I look at it this way...the Schick Hydro 3 Refills retail value is $7.44 each. So I definitely saved way more and for me it was worth the hassle.

Ran into a problem while checking out. I bought the spray on Veet which was ringing at $7.64 (with 10% discount) so I had to exchange it. I couldn't figure out why my OOP was a bit higher than I had anticipated. Then the $3 coupon didn't scan in and I had to leave it out. Then in the second transaction the toothpaste coupons weren't scanning in although it is for the product. The manager came and manually entered in the coupons. He said, as of the 1st of this month, if a coupon doesn't scan, they won't accept it. I exchanged the Veet and they took the $3 coupon, which worked on this product.
