I shopped at two different stores to make sure I used the coupons expiring today. Good thing too because my last stop had so many crossaction battery toothbrushes in stock there wasn't much space on the shelf. It was a stressful day going shopping with Asha by myself. She kept on running off and couple of times there were things in the cart I don't remember picking up. And on top of that I had some trouble with transaction #3. First the cashier wouldn't allow me to use the hershey's CRT on Almond Joy or York Pieces because it wasn't "Hershey" but it's made by Hershey. Then he wasn't sure of the colgate coupon because all he saw was pro clinical on the box although is says colgate in red right above it. Lastly we had to do the transaction a few times because he kept on taking off the deodorant price although it says free body wash wyb the deodorant. I had checked with the manager before checking out to see if he would accept coupons on clearanced items and he okayed it. Overall spending was $9 + tax on $66 worth of merchandise and I have $6 ECB for a next shopping trip.

I found out today that once your +UP reward is scanned and just in case your not gonna use it, it'll show up that the coupon has been previously used. So the cashier just went ahead and manually entered my $3.50 +UP reward and it took off some of the sales tax. I finally was able to use my Hot Wheels raincheck. I've had it for more than two months now. I was very happily surprised when the $1 +UP reward printed for the Bodiheat. Might get more later on in the week. Overall I paid $3.37 for $45 worth of merchandise and received $4 +UP reward to use for next time.

I pretty much just paid for the Halls. Everything else I got for free. I had gone to a different Target store earlier during the week but they didn't have any clearanced jeans or a photo lab. So I made out big time. Also I was lucky because the cashier okayed me using two of the same Target coupon in one transaction.

New Ride

I was told to check prices on used cars for a long time but I just never got around to doing it seeing as I don't know much about cars. We had set a budget of $5K but we went a little over. Mom came through (as always). She found out that one of her coworkers was selling his 2007 Chevrolet Impala for $7,000. It only ran 30,000 miles. Now I checked Kelley Blue Book price for a private party retail value for the car in good condition and it's $10K plus. We seriously made out. He even is gonna hook us up with an ipod connector. No more making CDs to listen to music. I'm gonna carry my music library with me...yeahhh!!!!


Don't mind the ripped steering wheel cover it will be replaced soon.




Asha likes it. She really likes it. Now she can finally see out the windows while riding in her car seat. No more low riding !!!

I ran into a little trouble with this transaction. I was told by the associate at the cosmetics counter that the dove deodorant coupon applied to any dove as long as the ounces was right. I was able to roll the Register Rewards. There were a bunch of Diabetes & You magazine in Spanish that had the Neuragen coupon so I just went from there. I'm stockpiling on the Neuragen Gel. The only reason why I got the patches was that they were out of the Icy Hot Vapor Gel. The store had been setting up for the tomorrow (new week) so I was able to get the Hershey's Candy...score!!!
